Settings

Select the Settings tab to view the Chatabox settings

Connect to Office 365 Contacts

Select Choose Contact Type and use the toggle switches to turn on or off the connection to Outlook Contacts (set on by default) and the User directory (Active Directory) .  

View Office365 Contacts

In the Contacts tab, select the Office 365 button to view Outlook contacts, the User Directory (Active Directory) and Office 365 Groups.    

Edit Outlook Contacts

Right-click on an Outlook contact and click on the Edit button to update the contact details. 

Click Update to save changes and update the contact in Outlook.    

Send a Text to an Office 365 Contact

Select an Outlook or User Directory contact in the Office 365 tab, and right-click to display the Action menu.

Select the menu option Send Message to send a text.

The Messages tab will be displayed and contain the conversation for that contact.

Send Text to Multiple Contacts

To send a text to multiple Outlook or Active Directory contacts in the Office 365 tab, press the Ctrl key on your keyboard and use your mouse to select each contact until all the contacts you want are highlighted.

Right-click on any one of the highlighted contacts to display the Action menu.

Select the menu option Send Message to send a text to all the selected contacts. 

The messages tab will be displayed and contain the conversation for that group of contacts.

Send Text to an Office 365 Group

To send a text and Office 365 Group that is set up in Outlook or Active Directory select the Groups in Office 365  panel, select the Group and right-click to display the Action menu.

Select the menu option Send Message to send a text.

The Messages tab will be displayed and contain the conversation for that Group.
