1.

Does Chatabox work with Skype for Business &  Microsoft Teams?
Yes.

Chatabox is a unique Office 365 add-in which brings robust, 2-way SMS text capabilities into your Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams environments.

Can I send & receive text messages from my desktop and my mobile devices?
Yes.  

The Chatabox mobile app enables you to send and receive SMS texts from all your IOS and Android mobile devices. The mobile app means you can start conversations on your desktop and keep them going when you’re out and about.

 

3.

Do my recipients have to install anything onto their phones in order to receive and reply to my messages?
No. 

Your contacts will receive your messages using the regular text message software that’s already built into their IOS or Android mobile devices.

So it’s simple and fast to send them appointment reminders, general information updates, or reschedule appointments with them. Just make sure that the messages you send comply with HIPPA PHI regulations.

 

4.

Where will my texting data be stored?

Microsoft Azure  securely stores all texting information, which makes it easy for you to access text histories as and when you need to.

The text information database is stored in the US by default. But data can be stored in any country where Azure is present. So you can choose to keep your information stored locally if you need to.

 

5.

Is the database encrypted?
Yes.

The database is secured and encrypted. It is not, though, encrypted end-to end. But if this is important to you, no problem. We can add end-to-end encryption for you.

 

6.

Is it possible to send text messages to multiple people, or to a list of people?
Yes.

If you use Skype for Business you can simply select the Skype contact you want your message to go to. If you use Microsoft Teams, you can select any contact from Outlook, Active Directory, or use your own database of contacts which you can build up. It’s also possible to import contacts into your personal database.

 

7.

Is there a limit to the number of contacts we can to the database?
No.

If I send a message to multiple people, will they see the names and numbers of other recipients?
No.

Each recipient will receive your text message as though it’s a one-to-one communication. This means they’ll never see the names or numbers of the other people who get your message.

Better still, their reply will come back directly to you. As a result, you can have a private, one-to-one conversation with each contact – which no one else on the contact list will be able to see.

 

9.

How is user-access protected?

Chatabox leverages all the latest security, privacy, and compliance features of Microsoft Azure

Microsoft Office 365/Azure Active Directory provides Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication. And this delivers the highest level of access security.

Microsoft’s inbuilt authentication ensures that your corporate security policies are automatically complied with. And it also eradicates the need for your IT staff to manage user access, or for your users to remember and enter their passwords repeatedly.

 

10.

   Can I archive all my text messages?
Yes.

Chatabox will automatically send an email transcript of every text message – sent or received. Transcripts can then be auto-filed in your conversation history folder to ensure that your legal compliance is always met.

Alternatively, Chatabox can integrate seamlessly with your existing secure archiving system.
